With over 30 years experience in antique furniture restoration, conservation and French Polishing, Simon Lorkin offers his professional and friendly services to both private and business clients in Surrey, Sussex, London and all over the South East of England.

Simon Lorkin is very pleased to announce that he is now celebrating a quarter of a century running his own antique restoration and French polishing business, having established his business in Shere in Surrey in 1991. He is also celebrating over his relocation to Normandy in Northern France over a decade ago in 2004.

I come to England periodically for a few days at a time, visiting clients to return their lovingly restored items and to look at new items to give an estimate, free of charge. Apart from on-site work such as oak panelling renovation, all work is carried out in my workshop, that was built in 1624, situated behind my home in the quiet Normandy countryside, less than an hour from the Channel port of Caen (Ouistreham).
